On June 3, 2025, the multifamily marketing community came together in Baltimore for Multifamily Marketing East (MME)—and we were thrilled to be part of the action. Hosted at the stunning Four Seasons Hotel, this invite-only event brought 200+ industry leaders into one room for a packed day of inspiration, innovation, and community.
Spoiler: The future of marketing isn’t static. It moves. And so does Kurie.
It All Started with a Mix & Mingle Seafood Boil
The evening before the main event, attendees gathered for a waterfront seafood boil: a relaxed kickoff where new introductions and old friendships mixed perfectly over Maryland’s best flavors. It set the tone for everything MME stands for: genuine connection, conversation, and creativity.
Power-Packed Keynotes
From the jump, MME delivered high-caliber insights:
-
Marco Muñoz (Google) shared how AI and automation are shaping the future of performance marketing and media buying.
-
Anna Paccone challenged us to borrow from hospitality, leading with empathy and experience to elevate the resident journey.
-
Sarah Cummins (Swellsville) reminded us that in an AI world, personal brand is your most powerful asset.
Breakout Sessions That Hit Home
This year’s 18 roundtable topics covered everything from AI and analytics to grassroots tactics and vendor selection. And we were proud to bring the Kurie perspective to the table.
Kurie’s Session:
“Trendspotting: What’s Next in Multifamily and How to Futureproof Your Marketing Plans”
We explored how AI, video strategy, and media fragmentation are shaping what’s next in multifamily—and what marketers can do now to stay ahead. The conversation touched on Streaming TV (obviously!), dynamic video production, and how brands can break out of the "sea of sameness" with personalized, unskippable content.
We loved hearing how others are integrating tech, video, and storytelling into their campaigns, and we left with even more ideas for how to keep leveling up our own work.
Sponsor Showcases & Lunch & Learns
Kurie also participated in the fast-paced Sponsor Showcase, where we had just three minutes to make our mark. We spoke about what makes Kurie different: scalable video for every property, retargeting via Streaming TV, and our AI-powered, human-refined production model.
Later, during Lunch & Learns, we had deeper conversations with attendees about the challenges of video content creation, the impact of Streaming TV ads, and how ReTV® is helping communities stay top-of-mind even after a website visit.
Our Takeaway: Video Is the Moment
At Kurie, we believe that video should no longer be a luxury—it should be a given. Events like MME reinforce why we do what we do: give multifamily marketers tools to show up where renters actually are, on their TVs, on their phones, in motion.
Because renters aren’t scrolling static listings anymore. They’re watching. Streaming. Clicking.
Thank You to the MME Team
We’re grateful to the visionaries behind this event—Matthew Kilmurry, Kelley Shannon, and the full MME sponsors and content committee, for creating a space that’s as actionable as it is inspiring.
And to all of the marketers we met, learned from, and brainstormed with—thank you. You reminded us why multifamily marketing is one of the most creative, adaptive, and community-driven industries around.
Let’s Keep It Moving
MME 2025 was a powerful reminder: the future isn’t static. It streams.
